# Connect a platform

> The IDs and tokens each ad platform needs, where to find them, and how to test them.

Turn a platform on under **Settings › Track Them All › Platforms**, fill in its fields and save. The browser tag needs only the ID; the access token enables server-side events. Then use **Test connection**.

Track Them All checks the format of each ID as you type, and says so if it doesn't look like the platform's.

## Meta

- **Pixel ID (Dataset ID):** Events Manager › Data sources › your pixel. Digits only.
- **Conversions API access token:** Events Manager › Settings › Conversions API › Generate access token.
- **Test event code** (optional): from the Test events tab. It routes server events to the test view; remove it when you're done.

## Google

- **GA4 Measurement ID:** GA4 Admin › Data streams › your web stream (`G-XXXXXXXXXX`).
- **Measurement Protocol API secret:** the data stream's details › Measurement Protocol API secrets › Create. With it, refunds are sent to Google Analytics from your server.
- **Send server-side events via Measurement Protocol:** off by default. GA4 can't deduplicate browser and server copies of most events, so turn this on only if you understand the double-counting risk.
- **Google Ads conversion ID** (optional): Google Ads › Goals › Conversions (`AW-XXXXXXXXX`).
- **Ads conversion label** for purchase, lead and sign-up: the part after the slash in `AW-XXXXXXXXX/AbCdEf…` for each conversion action.
- **Enhanced conversions for purchases** (optional): sends the buyer's email and phone, hashed, with the purchase conversion. Turn on enhanced conversions in Google Ads and accept its customer data terms first.

## X

- **Pixel ID:** ads.x.com › Tools › Events Manager (a short code like `o6ou1`).
- **Conversion API access token:** Events Manager › Install Pixel › Manual › Conversion API › Generate access token.
- **Event IDs:** X counts only events you created in its Events Manager. Paste each event's `tw-…` ID into its field; an event without one is skipped.

## TikTok

- **Pixel ID (Pixel Code):** TikTok Ads Manager › Tools › Events Manager › your web pixel.
- **Events API access token:** Events Manager › the pixel › Settings › Generate Access Token (needs the Admin or Operator role).
- **Test event code** (optional): from the Test Events tab. Remove it before going live; Site Health reminds you if you forget.

## Pinterest

- **Tag ID:** Ads Manager › Conversions › Conversion Tag Manager. Digits only.
- **Ad account ID:** from the Ads Manager address or Business settings. Needed for server-side events.
- **Conversions access token:** Ads Manager › Conversions › generate a conversions access token.

## Snapchat

- **Pixel ID:** Ads Manager › Events Manager › your Snap Pixel (a UUID).
- **Conversions API token:** Ads Manager › Business Details › Conversions API Tokens (needs Organization Admin).

## LinkedIn

- **Insight Tag partner ID:** Campaign Manager › Analyze › Insight Tag. The numeric ID from the tag snippet.
- **Conversions API access token:** generate it in Campaign Manager (scope `rw_conversions`); no developer app needed.
- **Conversion IDs:** LinkedIn records only events that have a conversion rule. Add each rule's ID to its event's field; Test connection needs at least one.

## Microsoft Advertising

- **UET tag ID:** Microsoft Advertising › Tools › UET tag. Digits only.
- **Conversions API token:** the UET tag › Edit › Set up tagging › Use Conversions API › Copy token.

## Reddit

- **Pixel ID:** Reddit Ads › Events Manager › your pixel (`a2_…`).
- **Conversion access token:** Events Manager › Conversions API › Generate access token.
- **Test ID** (optional): from Events Manager › Test events.

## Test before you rely on it

- **Test connection** checks the server credentials against the live API. For Google it checks only the event's format, not the API secret; without an API secret, both Google tests say to add one and don't contact Google. For TikTok it sends a custom event named ZttaConnectionTest.
- Under **Test event**, **Preview payload** shows a purchase exactly as your server sends it to that platform: a sample, or a real order's if you enter its ID. **Send to test channel** sends it where it doesn't count: always for Google, Pinterest and Snapchat, for Meta and TikTok with a test event code, and for Reddit with a Test ID. X, LinkedIn and Microsoft Advertising have no test channel.
